Md. Almass Ali completed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and MS in Pharmacology from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh and started working in development sector in 2008.He has been working with CARE Bangladesh as a Senior Technical Manager, Youth and Life Skills in SHIUHARDO III program since 2019. He has about thirteen years of experience in the fields of youth vocational & life skills training, agricultural activities, livelihood, food security, value chain and market development.

Mr. Hedyatul Islam is a development practitioner who started working in development arena after completing his Master of Science in Agronomy from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Prior to joining at CARE Bangladesh, Mr. Islam started his journey with Proshika in 2000. In this long journey, he played role in different capacities focusing on Livelihoods, Markets, Private Sectors, Research Organization, Nation Building Departments, Gender, Governance and Social Exclusion with special focus on pro-poor agriculture development. He also continues his studies as PhD Fellow and recently completed final seminar on his research work. He has passion to work in climate smart agriculture.

Mitu Rani Chowdhury

Ms. Mitu works in CARE Bangladesh for 24 years. Over the period she involves and contributes in partnership management, youth life skill development, building linkage and networking with prospective employers mostly. Currently she is delivering duties as Senior Technical Manager-Youth and Life Skills in SHOUHARDO III program. Ms. Mitu completed Mater of Social Science (M.S.S.) degree in 2013 from Asian University of Bangladesh

Mohammad Jahangir Alam Basunia

Mohammad Jahangir Alam Basunia completed his BBA and MBA from University of Dhaka in 2005. He started his career in development sector back in 2005. He is currently working as Senior Technical Coordinator – Off-Farm Livelihood and Financial Inclusion in SHOUHARDO III program although he started with Private Sector Engagement in this program and worked as so for 3.5 years. He also worked one year for youth employment in this program. Before joining in SHOUHARDO, he worked as Technical Manager – Enterprise Development in SWITCH Asia Jute Value Chain project of CARE Bangladesh in 2014-15. Earlier he worked in iDE as Manager-Business Development in market development sector for two years. Before joining iDE he worked in TMSS as Assistant Director – Program. Currently, he is working to develop livelihood of the poor and extreme poor through including them in VSLA and developing their off-farm livelihood options. He is positive minded, open to changes, adaptive and prone to technology adaption.

Selim Uddin Ahmed

Mr. Ahmed is an active development practitioner for more than 25 years. During his career he contributes in Agriculture, Livelihood and Humanitarian sectors in several International and National Nongovernmental organizations. Currently he is working in CARE Bangladesh as Senior Technical Manager-Agriculture and Livelihood. Prior to join in CARE he worked in Practical Action Bangladesh, World Vision, Proshika and Rhone-Poulence Bangladesh Limited. Mr. Ahmed holds post-graduate in Agriculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). Moreover, he also obtained a Professional MS in Food Security from Interdisciplinary Center for Food Security, ICF, BAU, Mymensingh. Sharmina Khatun

Sharminna Khatun completed her BSS & MSS in Sociology from National University and again did a Masters in Development Studies from Islamic University, Kustia. Though she started her carrier in 2008, she started working in development sector in 2010 and worked in different national and international organizations before joining CARE Bangladesh. At present, she is working as Senior Technical Manager -Off Farm Livelihood & Financial Inclusion in SHOUHARDO III Program. She has expertise in private sector engagement, agriculture based market and youth employment. She has a positive and adaptive mindset towards any change. She is committed to engaging women with economic activities to ensure women empowerment through private sector engagement.

Tabassum Hafsa started at CARE Bangladesh as a Develpoment Trainee of Off-Farm Livelihood and Financial Inclusion under SHOUHARDO III Program. She completed her undergraduation degree in Economics from IUBAT- International University of Business Agriculture and Technology. She acquired her post-graduation degree from the same discipline from Jahangirnagar University. Working in SHOUHARDO III program has given her opportunity to work with Char and Haor area of Bangladesh. She feels very fortunate to work closely with the people of remote area and gather precious experiences.
