George Nokrek has been working in the development sector for more than 21 years within the country and overseas in rural and urban setups. Currently, he is leading the off-farm livelihood and financial inclusion component in the SHOUHARD III program of CARE Bangladesh. Before joining CARE, he worked for Aga Khan Foundation as a Program Coordinator in Bihar, India. He also worked for Oxfam GB in different capacities based in Tajikistan. His key areas of expertise include livelihood’s development, access to finance, women economic empowerment, and entrepreneurship development. He completed his MBA degree majoring in Project Management from Sikkim Manipal University, India.
Md. Almass Ali completed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and MS in Pharmacology from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh and started working in development sector in 2008.He has been working with CARE Bangladesh as a Senior Technical Manager, Youth and Life Skills in SHIUHARDO III program since 2019. He has about thirteen years of experience in the fields of youth vocational & life skills training, agricultural activities, livelihood, food security, value chain and market development.

Mr. Hedyatul Islam is a development practitioner who started working in development arena after completing his Master of Science in Agronomy from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Prior to joining at CARE Bangladesh, Mr. Islam started his journey with Proshika in 2000. In this long journey, he played role in different capacities focusing on Livelihoods, Markets, Private Sectors, Research Organization, Nation Building Departments, Gender, Governance and Social Exclusion with special focus on pro-poor agriculture development. He also continues his studies as PhD Fellow and recently completed final seminar on his research work. He has passion to work in climate smart agriculture.
Mr. Nur Alam has over 12 years of experience in the development sector especially in the areas of livelihood, financial inclusion, health & nutrition, water and sanitation, IGA, and disaster response in rights-based food security program for rural communities. He has worked with multiple NGOs, including SKS Foundation, GBK, SAP Bangladesh, NDP, ASHRAI, and BDSC. Currently, he is a Senior Project Officer in the SHOUHARDO III program providing technical support for off-farm livelihoods and financial inclusion of Hoar region. Mr. Nur Alam completed his Bachelor and Masters of Arts (Islamic History & Culture) from National University.
Muhammad Abul Hossain (Shobuj) completed his B.S.S (2006) and M.S.S (2007) in Economics from the University of Dhaka and then went on to complete his Executive MBA from IBA, University of Dhaka. He started his career working at Winrock International after which he joined International Jute Study Group. Before joining the SHOUHARDO III program as Team Leader – Livelihood and Financial Inclusion, he joined Care Bangladesh as a Market Development Specialist under the Shomoshti Project. His main area of expertise in the development sector includes Private Sector Development, Market System Development and Value Chain Financing. Currently, he is contributing to reducing poverty through various off-farm livelihoods activities.

Mr. Ahmed is an active development practitioner for more than 25 years. During his career he contributes in Agriculture, Livelihood and Humanitarian sectors in several International and National Nongovernmental organizations. Currently he is working in CARE Bangladesh as Senior Technical Manager-Agriculture and Livelihood. Prior to join in CARE he worked in Practical Action Bangladesh, World Vision, Proshika and Rhone-Poulence Bangladesh Limited.
Mr. Ahmed holds post-graduate in Agriculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). Moreover, he also obtained a Professional MS in Food Security from Interdisciplinary Center for Food Security, ICF, BAU, Mymensingh.

Shikha Biswas is working in development sector for 15 years. She has worked in multi-sectoral programs with different international organizations such as Save the Children, USC Canada Bangladesh and CARE Bangladesh. At present, she is working for CARE SHOUHARDO III program as an Advisor- Youth & Life Skills and leading the youth inclusion in program designing, intervention planning and implementation focusing on youth employability skills development, income engagement and future preparedness. She completed her Masters in Political Science from Eden College, and Masters in Development Studies Degree from South East University and she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management degree from Bangladesh Open University.
Tabassum Hafsa did her Masters in Economics from Jahangirnagar University and she pursued a Bachelor’s degree from the same discipline from IUBAT. Before joining the Livelihood & Financial Inclusion team, she worked as a Development Trainee under SHOUHARDO III. During this time, she has closely worked with VSLA, Non-Farm activities, Private Sector Engagement. Apart from that, she also assisted the Research & Learning team for different KII & FGD. She has always been enthusiastic about working for women empowerment.
