A. T. M. Zubaidur Rahman is a seasoned food security sector manager with over 30 years’ experience of implementation of development programs. Holds a Civil Engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology with a Master in Business Administration from Stamford University, Bangladesh. He joined CARE in 1989 and since then working in different development programs of CARE funded by USAID. Over the years he has gained demonstrable experience in food and nutrition security, urban poverty reduction, humanitarian assistance, infrastructure development, environment and climate risk management and many other development areas. Zubaid is an expert grants and project manager. Currently he is leading the grants, partnerships and operations as Head of Partnerships, Operations and Resources of SHOUHARDO III program.

Afrhill is a new generation humanitarian and development program specialist with nearly 12 years of experience working in Asia and East Africa. A native from the island country of The Philippines, she started her career in the emergency operations of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, then moved to the recovery program of Save the Children and now leads the Knowledge Management and Learning team of USAID’s Resilience Food Security Activity in Bangladesh: SHOUHARDO III. She is a mother of two and spends her free time spending quality time with them, reading, and exploring places. She likes tennis, does barre exercises and yoga to keep her sanity especially during the peak of COVID-19 lockdown. She is a great communicator, a writer and always puts her heart in whatever she does.

Marc is a development professional and a successful leader of several development programs throughout the world. He started his career with Save the Children in 1998, serving in different capacities with Save the Children and Child Fund in Eastern Europe, the Horn of Africa, Middle East (Iraq), Asia (Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka) and the US (Washington DC). Currently he is leading SHOUHARDO III with CARE Bangladesh as the Chief of Party (CoP). He had worked in same position for SHOUHARDO II project in Bangladesh during November 2012 to October 2014. Before joining in CARE Bangladesh recently, he worked as the Country Director for CARE Mozambique since November 2014. In its strategic plan (2014-2020) led by Marc, CARE Mozambique made a long-term commitment to fight poverty and improve food & nutrition security by empowering women and girls. Prior to joining CARE, Marc worked as the Country Director for Save the Children (SC) in Zambia from April 2010 to November 2012. Before that, Marc served as the Deputy Country Director for Save the Children US in Ethiopia for three years. Marc has a Masters in International Public Health from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts from the School for International Training. Marc’s native home is in Germany. He is married and blessed with two children.

Mukti Majumder completed her Masters in Economics from Rabindra Bharati University, Calcutta, India in 1995 along with Bachelor in the same. She is a development practitioner with 20 years of working experience with international NGOs in multi sectoral development projects integrating different donors and stakeholders. She has expertise in program planning, effective implementation, supervision, partnership management, gender mainstreaming, budgeting, training, analyzing and reporting using appropriate participatory tools (PRA) and techniques in an innovative manner. Currently, she is working as Senior Technical Manager- Women Empowerment in SHOUHARDO III program.

Subrata Kumar Saha

Mr. Saha involves in development field for more than 26 years. Over the period he joins different International and National Nongovernmental organizations. About 16 years of he works as a members of senior management of the program/project as well as organization. During this long working period Mr. Saha involves in daily livelihood, food-security, agricultural development, WASH, poverty elimination, disaster management, relief and rehabilitation, women empowerment, skill development of youths and climate change and adaptation. Mr. Saha is an expert to lead big team, mentoring, supervision, decision making and conflict management. He is capacitated with successful implementation of different projects through effective collaboration among public, private and research organizations.
