Md. Mahfuz Ashraf has been working at CARE Bangladesh SHOUHARDO III program as Private Sector Advisor since November 2019. Prior to joining at CARE Bangladesh, he worked in different international organizations and UN agencies in Bangladesh and Tanzania, East Africa. He has completed his B.Sc. in Agriculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh and obtained MBA with a major in project management from Atlantic International University, USA. Mahfuz has vast knowledge and experience in the area of agriculture, agroforestry, project management, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, private sector engagement, climate change adaptation, WASH, gender and human rights, women empowerment, M4P, market systems, value chain development, youth empowerment, Rohingya response program etc. He is very strong in facilitation and communication. He has 19 years plus working experience in development fields in Bangladesh and abroad. He attended in different international events. He also visited many countries. Mahfuz has six publications.

Sazzad Mahmud Shuvo is a development activist with experiences in advocacy and communications. At CARE Bangladesh, Mr. Shuvo oversees and coordinates advocacy pursuits for the country office. Prior to joining the CARE family, he worked at Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) and also performed as Communication Focal Person for Citizen’s Platform for SDGs, Bangladesh. He also worked at BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health and BBC Media Action in the field of advocacy and communication. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from Jahangirnagar University with major in communication and cultural studies. He completed research fellowship on policy influencing from the Institute for Media and Communication Studies, Freie Universität Berlin in Germany.
