To adapt with the needs of evolving markets is one of the primary goals of SHOUHARDO III for its participants. In this regard, the program facilitated private sector engagement that garnered support from renowned local and multi-national companies in Bangladesh.Square Pharmaceuticals Limited- Agrovet division facilitated six batches of Vaccinators-local service providers training in Char and Haor Region, where a total of 154 trained vaccinators (Female-35, Male-119) received technical services on livestock disease management and uses of vaccines from Square Veterinary Doctors. A total of 14,145 Poor and Extreme Poor participants received services from 154 Vaccinators.
Aftab Bohumukhi Farms Limited bought 1,800 metric tons of maize from SHOUHARDO III participants in Jamalpur in 2020. They have planned to buy bulk amount of maize in 2021 from SHOUHARDO participants with competitive price, as was done before.
