CARE Bangladesh’s SHOUHARDO III program conducted a longitudinal study titled, “Fostering Learning and Adaptation in Resilience Building (FLAIRb)”. This mixed-methods study intended to measure the longitudinal effects on the adoption of agricultural practices and productivity, women empowerment, and health and nutrition practices of SHOUHARDO III beneficiaries as well as to track changes in household resilience capacities and other adjustments made by households as they were exposed to shocks over the course of three years from July 2017 to July 2019. The final report revealed that women’s empowerment, maternal and newborn child health, livelihood practices and many other resilience factors have improved over the three years this study was conducted on SHOUHARDO III program beneficiaries.
