Strengthening Household Ability to Respond to Development Opportunities (SHOUHARDO) III is a Development Food Security Activity (DFSA) funded by the United States Government through the United States Agency for International Development/ Office of Food for Peace (USAID/FFP), with complementary funding from the Government of Bangladesh (GoB). SHOUHARDO III is a five-year program which aims to achieve improved gender equitable food and nutrition security and resilience for 168,500 Poor and Extreme Poor (PEP) households living in the eight districts of Northern Char and Haor wetland areas of Bangladesh. SHOUHARDO got a program cost extension until September 2022. During this extension phase, the project will be focusing on building systems to ensure sustained impact for the participant communities beyond the program period.
