Mr. Alam involves in development field for about 27 years. He is an expert in community level infrastructure development and management of environmental aspects of project activities. He joined CARE Bangladesh in 1993 and currently is working as Senior Technical Coordinator-Infrastructure in SHOUHARDO III program. Prior joining to CARE he worked in Habitat and Columbia Engineers Limited in Bangladesh.
Mr. Alam holds post-graduate in Business Administration in 2008 from Southeast University and graduate degree in Engineering (Civil) He completed B.Sc. Engineering (Civil) in 1991 from Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT), Rajshahi.

Md. Rafiqul Islam has over 27 years of working experience in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation, Food Security, and Agriculture and Natural Resources. He has extensive expertise in program development, strategic planning, and leadership support in large implementation teams. Since 2006, he has been working with CARE Bangladesh’s SHOUHARDO program. Presently, he is the Team Leader – DRR & Resilience. He has been promoting risk reduction and adaptation interventions for protecting people from disaster and climate risk. He completed his M. Sc. in Climate Change and Development from IUB, Master in Development Studies from SEU, and Masters of Social Science in Economics from AUB, and Graduation in Economics in Dhaka University.
Mr. Islam involves in Development and Humanitarian sector for more than 17 years. Over the period he worked in several International and National Nongovernmental Organizations and currently serving to CARE Bangladesh as Senior Technical Manager-Resilience. During his working period he joins in development areas of food security and livelihood, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, nutrition, market development, humanitarian response and recovery. Mr. Islam holds post-graduate in Agriculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University
Having a diploma in Civil Engineering in 2006, Md Sahanur Rahman has been working in the fields of infrastructure development, WASH, emergency response and rehabilitation. He has almost 15 years of working experience in different national and international organizations. Currently, he is working as Infrastructure and Environmental Officer in SHOUHARDO III program. He has sound knowledge in rural water technology, water quality testing, and DRR component. During his leisure, he likes to travel, play cricket, football, and volley ball.
Since 2001 SK Lutfor Rahman has been working in development field. Throughout his career he involved in three International and four National Nongovernmental Organizations. Currently he is working in CARE Bangladesh as Infrastructure and Environmental Officer. Mr. Rahman is an expert on activities related to construction work, WASH, DRR, emergency response & rehabilitation. Moreover, he has sound knowledge on rural water technology and water quality testing. Mr. Lutfor was born in 1979 in Khulna. In 1999 he completed a Diploma Engineer (Civil) course from Khulna Polytechnic institute.
